Although she has now been for the last time as she is off to school in September we have had lots of fun exploring the park, finding birds, bugs, frog, toads, snakes as well as looking at the flowers, trees and berries, much sticking, painting and making has been done, lots of stories listened to, biscuits eaten and squash drunk and most importantly lots and lots of muddy puddles have been jumped in!
So here are some photos to remember all the fsun and all the things we saw at Little Squirrels in Queen Elizabeth Country Park. I am linking up with the lovely Coombe Mill Country Kids too as I keep missing her linky (guilty as charged !)
For anybody who lives in this area of Hampshire who has a little one over 2 I would really recommend you take them along to try it. It is mostly run by some lovely volunteers who the children love and it is a bargain at £4/child. They have a theme which changes every two weeks and it runs on Wednesdays in term time.
To see lots more nature head on over to Dear Beautiful Boy
or Coombe Mill's Country Kids by clicking on these images. Next weeks theme is Growing- may be going back to nature again!
That looked like lots of fun!
ReplyDeleteI don't know if it's just me or if perhaps everyone else experiencing problems with your blog. It looks like some of the text on your posts are running off the screen. Can someone else please provide feedback and let me know if this is happening to them too? This may be a problem with my browser because I've had this happen previously. Many thanks
